In this blog post I will discuss a prayer that I was inspired to write over a decade ago.
It should be noted that the word “God” is used for the purposes of simplicity and familiarity, representing Source. This prayer represents the truth of our infinite and absolute relationship with Source, God
The prayer can also be a powerful meditation. Meditating on each line of The prayer reveals and Invokes a unique aspect of our Divinity.
When repeating and meditating on the prayer, God Is Therefore I Am, the associated thoughts, feelings, emotions Invoked by each line will be unique to each individual. Simply allow whatever thoughts, feelings and emotions are invoked and felt
With frequent repetition, deeper and more profound meanings will be realised within.
The prayer can be repeated at any time of your choosing – relaxing in a chair, waiting for a bus, during a car or train journey, lying in bed before sleep for example.
The more relaxed you are and the quieter and more serene your surroundings, the more your brainwaves will tend towards the slower, more relaxed Alpha state, which is an excellent state for “deeper” thoughts and Inner contemplation and communication.
God Is Therefore I Am
God Became Me That I Could Become God, Therefore I Am God
God Is All, I Am God, Therefore I Am All
God Is Mind, I Am God, Therefore I Am Mind
God Is Light, I Am God, Therefore I Am Light
God Is Love, I Am God, Therefore I Am Love
God Is Infinite, I Am God, Therefore I Am Infinite
God Is Eternal, I am God, Therefore I Am Eternal
God Is Perfect, I Am God, Therefore I May Realise Perfection
God Expresses Through Me, As Me, Therefore I Express Experience
God Is, Therefore I Am
And So It Is.
Let us look now then at each line of this prayer and its associated meaning.
God Became Me That I Could Become God, Therefore I Am God
This first line of the prayer affirms our very reason for Being – why we were “created” along with all life, Spirit, Mind and Consciousness.
God Is All, I Am God, Therefore I Am All
Affirms our Oneness of Being. Source, The One, is All in creation, and therefore as aspects of Source, God, we are also The All. There is nowhere in the Universe in all spheres of Vibration that we do not exist.
God Is Mind, I Am God, Therefore I Am Mind
Affirms that Source is Universal Mind of which our individual Conscious – objective Mind – and Subconscious – subjective mind – are One.
God Is Light, I Am God, Therefore I Am Light
Affirms the true nature of our Being as Energy, Vibration – Light.
God Is Love, I Am God, Therefore I Am Love
Affirms our highest state of Being, as Divine, Unconditional Love..
God Is Infinite, I Am God, Therefore I Am Infinite
Affirms our omnipotent, omniscient and omnipresent Being. Contrary to the illusion of existing as a person only living on Earth as a separate human being, we are, as aspects and One with Source, God, Infinite in nature.
God Is Eternal, I am God, Therefore I Am Eternal
Affirms Our “timeless”, “space-less” state of Being. Far from existing on Earth only as a human being with a finite life span, we are All Eternal, living forever as Divine, Spiritual Beings, One with Source, God.
God Is Perfect, I Am God, Therefore I May Realise Perfection
Affirms our fundamental State of Being. Every human being, all life and expressions of Source, God, are fundamentally Divinely Perfect. It is only the illusion of living on Earth as a limited, individual human being that conceals this great truth. It is only the Conscious, Objective sphere of Mind that denies this great truth.
God Expresses Through Me, As Me, Therefore I Express Experience
This affirms our Source of true power The power that created the Universe is within, and part of us all, therefore we are truly unlimited in our abilities to express and experience anything that can be imagined..
God Is, Therefore I Am
Finally, the last line of this prayer defines our True Infinite, Eternal nature. We all exist, as Children”, aspects of Source, God, both with and as God, Source.
And So It Is.
